Connect your agent

sift-cli

Publisher README and executable Python manifest reviewed from pinned captures. No credential is required in the explicitly configured SIFT_NO_MODEL mode; optional model-backed selection can use the user's API key or an OpenAI-compatible endpoint. The server can execute commands and read local files under the invoking user's permissions. Documentation evidence only; the package, commands, files, and model endpoints were not executed or accessed.

Capabilities: Run commands and return selected output lines, Follow and stop background commands, Digest logs and structured files, Outline source files and retrieve retained output

Unattended configuration

The publisher documents an MCP server that speaks over stdin and supports background command runs that remain available for later follow and stop calls.

Authentication and prerequisites

No credential is required when the user deliberately enables SIFT_NO_MODEL=1; publisher-documented optional model modes instead use SIFT_API_KEY/NVIDIA_API_KEY or a user-selected endpoint.

Source ↗ · Checked 2026-09-19
Connection configuration

The publisher documents sift-mcp as the stdio client command and the manifest maps that executable to sift.server:main.
