Authentication and prerequisites

The documented prerequisite is an interactive Google login in a visible browser, after which a saved session is reused by the MCP server. This session-based browser authentication does not map cleanly to API-key, client-credentials, or OAuth in the native taxonomy, so auth is classified as unknown and setup as user-authorization.

For MCP mode, the client starts dist/index.js with Node over stdio; the published package also provides a notebooklm-mcp executable. HTTP and Docker modes are documented alternatives but are not projected as the directory connection.
