n3memorycore-mcp-lite

Publisher README and pyproject manifest were reviewed from pinned captures. The package, embedding model, and Redis backend were not executed or downloaded. The documented automatic loop depends on client permission settings, and publisher documentation warns that LLM-directed saving alone is non-deterministic. Records expire after seven days by default.

Capabilities: Save and search short-lived memories, Hybrid vector and lexical retrieval, List and delete memory records, Separate and rank project sessions

Unattended configuration

Publisher documentation explicitly describes automatic search and save behavior and documents a client permission allowlist so tool calls do not block on approval prompts. Redis Stack must already be available, and behavioral-instruction auto-save is non-deterministic unless the documented client hook is used.

Authentication and prerequisites

The default documented deployment runs locally, makes no cloud API calls, and uses no service credential. A shared or remote Redis deployment may require authentication at the Redis layer and is outside this no-auth local classification.

Connection configuration

The reviewed client configurations launch the n3mc-workingmemory console script as a local stdio MCP server with no command arguments. Redis is a separate required backend connection, defaulting to redis://localhost:6379/0.
