The explicit lilbee mcp subcommand starts the stdio server and bypasses the interactive TUI. This review covers local document retrieval with an already configured local embedding model and library. Requires Python 3.11+ or a matching packaged executable, installed dependencies, downloaded local model weights, sufficient local hardware and readable/writable library storage. Local model operation needs no cloud credentials. Initial model setup, interactive chat, remote providers and protected web crawling are outside this scope. Run lilbee mcp after preparing the local library/model configuration. The launcher treats the mcp argument as non-interactive, and the command calls the dedicated stdio server.
